1. Site Environment Check

The projector position also needs to be confirmed. The projected image should fully cover the planned interactive area, while reducing shadow interference when users stand in front of the wall. For classrooms, training rooms and exhibition spaces, the installer should also consider the standing positions of multiple users.
2. Projector Installation and Image Alignment
After the projector is installed, the projected image should be adjusted first.
The technician needs to set the image size, position and focus according to the actual wall size. The image edges should match the intended interactive area. For non-standard walls or special installation environments, keystone correction, edge adjustment or software mapping may also be required.
The goal of this step is to make the image stable, clear and accurately positioned before touch calibration begins.
3. Laser Touch Module Installation
The laser touch module is the core component of the wall finger touch system. Its installation position depends on the wall size, touch height and user interaction method.
Key installation points include:
1. The camera module can be fixed directly on the projector housing with a bracket. It may be installed below, behind or above the projector, depending on the site condition. 2. The laser module should be fixed above the center of the projected image. The distance from the upper edge of the image is usually around 3 to 10 cm, depending on the width of the display area. 3. All brackets and modules must be firmly fixed. Any looseness or vibration may affect the touch experience. 4. The laser touch area should fully cover the projected image, so the system can detect finger touch accurately across the whole wall.

4. Touch Accuracy Adjustment and Calibration

In the IWB software interface, the projected image should normally occupy about 70% to 80% of the black preview area.
For the laser module, the adjustment process usually includes these steps:
1. Turn the height adjustment knob clockwise so the red laser line reaches the ground. 2. Check whether the red laser line is parallel to the wall. 3. If it is not parallel, adjust the tilt knob until the line is basically parallel. 4. Turn the height adjustment knob counterclockwise until the red line is about 5 mm from the lower edge of the displayed image. A white sheet of paper can be placed near the lower edge to help observe the laser line. 5. After adjustment, turn off the red light and gently close the cover.
After hardware adjustment, calibration can be performed. Gloview systems support both manual calibration and automatic calibration.
5. Manual and Automatic Calibration
For manual calibration, after the automatic shielding process is completed, the technician can click manual calibration in the software. A calibration interface will appear. The user should touch the crosshair points accurately with a finger or an infrared pen. After calibration is completed, the software will minimize to the taskbar and the system can start touch operation.
For automatic calibration, the technician clicks the automatic calibration button. The projected image will switch to the automatic calibration interface. After about 5 seconds, the calibration will be completed and the screen will return to the normal projection image. The software will then show that calibration has succeeded.
After calibration, the technician should test multiple points across the projected area to check whether the finger touch position matches the system response. If any offset is found, the software calibration should be adjusted again.
Important test items include:
1. Whether single click and double click are accurate. 2. Whether drag movement is continuous and smooth. 3. Whether edge areas can be recognized correctly. 4. Whether multiple users can operate at the same time. 5. Whether the system remains stable during longer operation.
For large wall interactive projection projects, edge accuracy is especially important. It is not enough for only the center area to work well. The whole display area should provide a stable and consistent touch experience.
6. Interactive Content Testing
After hardware calibration, the system should be tested together with the interactive content.
Different projects may use image galleries, videos, interactive games, education courseware, company presentations, product displays or immersive experience software. During testing, the technician should confirm whether buttons, menus, dragging, zooming and page switching match the expected user experience.
For education or training projects, it is also important to test continuous writing, multi-user interaction and smooth switching between courseware or presentation content.
7. On-Site Acceptance Checklist
A wall finger touch interactive projection system is usually checked from the following aspects before delivery:
1. The projected image is complete and clear. 2. Finger touch positioning is accurate. 3. Touch response is stable and fast. 4. Multi-touch operation works correctly. 5. The system runs for a long time without obvious abnormal behavior. 6. Users can naturally complete clicking, dragging, selecting and other common actions.
Before final delivery, it is recommended that the end users try the system themselves. Engineering adjustment is only the first step. The real goal is to make the system easy, natural and smooth for everyday users.
